We’re not your average boozer. Vinny & Ted is a craft beer bar with personality and we want to become a part of the local community in Beaconsfield. We’re on the hunt for a Bar Manager who knows their IPAs from their elbow and can lead our team from the front.
WHO YOU ARE:
• You’ve managed/assistant managed a bar before and didn’t burn it down. Bonus points if you made it better.
• Can run a cellar in your sleep.
• Clean as a whistle. Organised. Bit of a boss.
• You can chat to punters without sounding like a robot.
• You don’t cry when someone orders a Carling or a Mateus (but we get it if you flinch).
• You can handle rotas, stock, suppliers, Q&As, dog walks (we love dogs in the bar) quizzes and live music nights without losing your mind.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Keep the place ticking like a well-poured pint.
• Run the P&L: make sure more is coming in than going out.
• Train staff so they’re not pouring stout like it’s squash.
• Create a space that feels like your mate’s living room—if your mate was popular, cool and had excellent taste in music.
• Throw the odd event, tap takeover, tasting session, or whatever gets bums on seats and glasses in hands.
