On Thursday 17th September we welcome Denise Lewis DBE and Isa Guha MBE to Beaconsfield. Join us for a fantastic evening with two of Britain’s most respected sporting figures as they share stories from their incredible careers, life behind the scenes, and their experiences at the very highest level of sport.
Denise is one of Britain’s greatest-ever athletes, best known for winning Olympic gold in the Heptathlon at the 2000 Sydney Games. During a glittering career she also won World, European and Commonwealth medals. Since retiring from the track Denise became a highly respected television presenter and sports broadcaster, inspiring audiences with her insight, warmth and passion for sport. Denise is currently president of UK Athletics.
Isa is a World Cup winning England cricketer, renowned TV and radio broadcaster and one of the leading voices in World Cricket. Isa is also the founder of Charity “Take Her Lead” for which the evening will be in aid of. Take Her Lead is on a mission to enable a more inclusive culture for women and girls in cricket, their vision is for cricket to be a place where women and girls can fulfil their potential and thrive, within the game and beyond.
Expect an entertaining evening filled with stories, laughs and the chance to hear from two sporting legends in the intimate setting of Vinny & Ted.
