Northern Monk’s fourth Homebrew Heroes beer is a stunning 4.8% Blackcurrant, Blackberry & Sea Salt Gose, Forage Fire.

Taking inspiration from a traditional, salt-tinged, wheat-rich style originating in Leipzig and fruited sours of more recent times, the Homebrew Hero, Brian Tomlinson, foraged the blackberries in his local park where brambles grow in abundance.

They’ve scaled that up here, with Himalayan pink salt has been added for a further dimension, as well as a pleasant body and mouthfeel, whilst aiming to be faithful to the traditional Goses of generations ago.
